I’m noticing that grief isn’t always loud.

Some of the hardest days are filled with silences.

Silence where there was once comfort and understanding.

Silence where there was once wisdom.

Silence where there was once celebration.

Silence over a coffee next to an empty chair.

Sometimes, it’s the silence that aches the loudest.
